Congratulations to Mrs. Valerie Jamison, for being chosen as Williams Memorial Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year!
I am honored to be chosen as Williams Memorial Elementary School’s 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year. I am humbly grateful for this honor. Every school day, I eagerly await my students’ arrival. I realize this is another blessed opportunity to provide purposeful experiences to aid in their academic development. This honor is a reflection of my dynamic students, wonderful colleagues and supportive administration. After 22 years of experience in Education, I still have a zeal for molding the minds of the young children in spite of the many oppositions and changes taken place in our field throughout the years. I salute all educators across our nation for their daily dedication to students! Former President Barack Obama stated, “From the moment students enter a school, the most important factor in their success is not the color of their skin or the income of their parents, it’s the person standing at the front of the classroom…America’s future depends on its teachers.”
