Members of the Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation attend the 2024 Carnegie Foundation Summit on Improvement in Education

Members of the Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation at Voorhees University are attending the 2024 Carnegie Foundation Summit on Improvement in Education. The EPI Team is well represented with 25 total participants in San Diego, California. In addition to the in-person attendees, EPI Team Members, Virtual Instructional Coaches, and Fellows are also participating virtually.

IMPACT Fellows Attend Carnegie Summit

Angela Hart and Jessica Sanders EPI Fellows

Two IMPACT (Improvement Science Propels Achievement and Critical Thinking) Fellows Jessica Sanders and Angela Hart participating in the Carnegie Summit expressed their appreciation for the learning opportunity. Sanders and Hart are from the Sumter County School District. IMPACT is for currently certified Elementary Education and English Language Arts educators who are interested in improving their instructional practices. Educators receive a micro-credential in Improvement Science while engaging in self-selected professional development to address the challenges they face in their classroom.
