V-NET

Voorhees Network for Enhanced Teaching Program

Earn your Master’s degree and become a certified educator at the same time! The Voorhees Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation provides the opportunity for both through V-NET.

The V-NET program utilizes a residency model that allows candidates to refine their inquiry approach to teaching under the guidance of an outstanding K-12 accomplished teacher.

Candidates learn the tenets of Improvement Science and how to use them to inform their instructional practices.

* Micro-credentials are competency-based, self-paced recognitions that allow educators an opportunity to demonstrate mastery of a particular skill. For every one (1) micro-credential that a Fellow completes, he or she will receive 12 renewal credits. Each Fellow will receive a STEAM micro-credential. Earn six (6) micro-credentials total, two (2) in STEM, and receive a $4,000 stipend.

** Our 11-month residency program allows teacher candidates to co-teach with proven accomplished teachers. Stipends available for accomplished teachers.

*** Each V-NET candidate will receive an annual living wage stipend of $35,000 to offset the cost of leaving employment to attain their teaching licensure.
